This is Reed. She’s funny, creative, and loves hanging out with her family. Reed loves to play soccer, she even scored two goals during her last game! I’ve known Reed her whole life. I’ll do anything to protect her. I’ve included this image with the full support of her parents, who, like so many families with trans kids, are navigating an impossible moment in this country. 

Trans youth are relentlessly targeted by lawmakers who weaponize fear to justify cruelty. Legislation aimed at banning gender-affirming care and silencing self-expression doesn’t just exist on paper—it puts kids like Reed in real danger. Studies show that Anti-Transgender laws cause up to 72% increase in suicide attempts among transgender and nonbinary youth.

Reed is not a talking point. She’s not a political tool. She’s a kid who just wants to live her life.
